The 4th meeting of the "Collaboration Council for Wool and Cashmere sector" was jointly organized by the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association, Uniterra Program, and Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry.

In the meeting attended Chairman of Light Industry Policy Implementing the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia, Mr. B.Batkhuu, Ambassador of Canada to David Sproule and  62 wool and cashmere factories, Mongolian professional schools in Korea, the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, the Light Industry Research and Development Institute, the Mongolian wool and cashmere association, and the Mongolian wool products industry associations.

One of the most pressing issues in wool and cashmere sector is "empowering human resources." In this regard, organizing meetings held by relevant ministries, wool and cashmere associations, universities, professional institutions, research institutes and international organizations, and parties shared and exchanged information and work within the framework of further cooperation.

Among the stakeholders involved in the development of the wool and cashmere sector was the result of the conference, which enabled them to make a conclusion on their own activities.
 
In the meeting also participated Asian Development Bank's Agriculture and Rural Development Project, Employment Skills Development Project and the World Bank's Export Development Project. Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association will be in operation of Collaboration Council for the wool and cashmere sector which initiated by Uniterra Program with regard of the Ministry support in 2016.
